Since the 2000 edition of the Patentee Codes user guide the following standard codes have been added. This list will be updated as new companies and codes are added to our database. The Patentee Lookup facility contains the latest version of this database.

This is the code for Bosch GmBH Robert and should not have been assigned to BSH Bosch & Siemens Hausgeraete GmBH. As of Derwent update 200053, BSH Bosch & Siemens Hausgeraete GmBH will be assigned the standard company code BSHB, and the backfile will be updated to reflect this correction. Bosch GmBH Robert retains the BOSC code and will not be affected by this change.
* Please note, Wacker-Werke GmbH & Co KG is owned by Interwac Holding AG of Switzerland and not Wacker-Chemie GmBH as was originally thought. Therefore Wacker-Werke GmbH & Co KG has been assigned a new code of WACW and the backfile will be updated to reflect this correction. The Wacker-Chemie group and Wacker Siltronic will retain the original WACK code and will not be affected by this change.
