Philadelphia, PA, London, UK - June 23, 2008 - The Scientific
business of Thomson Reuters today announced that
it is expanding the breadth of the regulatory information
management services it provides, following two
strategic partnerships signed by Liquent.
Through collaborations with two innovative solutions
providers, Liquent will expand its solution set via
these strategic offerings to build on its market
leader position as the key provider of software and
services solutions designed specifically to meet
the regulatory needs of life sciences organizations.
They are:
- ThinSpring – Liquent
will offer ThinSpring’s SPL Server™ and
PIM Server™ products that enable user-friendly,
web-based label authoring in native XML formats.
- ECLINSO – Liquent and
eCLINSO will offer an eCTD solution called Liquent.CONNECT™ that
will be delivered via eCLINSO’s hosting services.
This will allow companies to produce their own
eCTD without investing in expensive new IT infrastructures.
“Our customers rely on our regulatory expertise,” said
Rick Riegel, Vice President and General Manager at
Liquent. “By collaborating with some of the
most innovative companies in the marketplace, we’re
ensuring customers have access to the most efficient
and diverse integrated solution, allowing them to
manage product registrations, dossiers and documents
effectively over broad time-scales.”
“I am excited about our growing relationship
with Liquent and the Thomson Reuters family of companies. This
agreement instantly expands our sales capacity in
a dynamic market requiring very specialized skills
and experience,” said Ron Celeste, CEO, ThinSpring. “In
addition, the integration of our XML-based technology
with Liquent’s product dossier management tools
sets the stage well for the future of electronic
regulated product submissions.”
“Our collaboration with Liquent will offer
customers a cost-effective entry into the eCTD market,
facilitate the e-submission process and create an
opportunity for mid-sized and smaller pharmaceuticals
to benefit from utilizing an enterprise-class eCTD
solution," said Frank Pijpers, CEO of ECLINSO.
Liquent will be exhibiting at the DIA Annual Conference,
June 23-25, 2008 in Boston, MA. Visit booth #438
